It’s Feeding Time

Red-bellied woodpecker

Just a typical day in our backyard at one of the feeders. This guy came back often for a seed, then flew off to eat and then back again to start the whole process over.

    Hi

You seem to have the most wonderful variety of birds in your backyard. We get 2 cats, and very few birds. A Green Woodpecker pops in once every 5 years! We certainly don’t get these.

Thanks so much for your comments. I’m still amazed at the variety of birds we get in our yard. Lately though, the purple grackles have taken up residence and chasing a lot of the songbirds away.
