Fall at the birdbath

Northern Flicker & Robin

It’s always interesting to see who visits the birdbath. I enjoyed watching this Robin and Northern Flicker drinking next to each other and getting along so well.

Thanks so much. Right time, right place, as in my backyard.

What a lovely combination! We’ve had a lot of Flickers coming to our back yard suet station lately. Last week two robins snuggled next to each other in the birdbath and took turns flinging the water in all directions. I wished you would have been here to capture that sweet moment.
    Keep up the wonderful posts!

Thanks Ann! Going up to the Baraboo Bluffs this morning with a couple of friends and hopefully I’ll find something interesting to photograph.
