Indigo Bunting

female Indigo Bunting

This is the Indigo Bunting no one ever seems to notice….the female.  Actually, this is the lst time I’ve captured one in a photograph. You can see she has a little dusting of blue on her wing tips and breast.  I suppose this could be a young male as they look very similar to the female. Tomorrow I’ll post the male Indigo Bunting.
