Indigo Bunting

Male Indigo Bunting

Yesterday I showed the female Indigo Bunting and here is the male bunting. These birds are easy to spot whether they are flying around or at the feeders. Always enjoy this beautiful bird when it shows up in the Spring.

Love this photo! This year we have indigo buntings at one of our feeder stations. We’ve been feeding the birds here for 18 years, and this is their first appearance at any of our feeders ~ I’ve counted at least 6 pairs that are at the feeders daily.

Lora, that is fantastic! We have quite a few this year and it was fun to get the photo of the female as well. Thanks for the comment and I hope you enjoy my blog.
