It’s All About the Jelly Dish..

Male Baltimore Oriole

The Baltimore Orioles are regular visitor’s to this jelly dish. It’s always nice to see them come flying in, both males and females, landing on the  feeder and enjoying the sweet fruit. A welcomed visitor I will never get tired of seeing. Yesterday I went to visit our local winery, Wollersheim Winery, and this must be the orioles vineyard. Everyone loves the grapes!

I think I’d never tire of them either. A beautiful bird … maybe I need to put out some jam!

Thanks Scott, I have to agree, he is a handsome bird. Generic grape jelly seems to be these birds favorite.

I briefly saw the indigo bunting who’s been hanging around the neighborhood at my birdbath today. Stunning! Wished you were on my deck with your camera. You catch the vivid colors.
