Spring Bluebird at Rose Lake

I am so “itching” for Spring that I went back through my photo library from 2011 and found this spring Bluebird that I photographed at Dorothy Carnes County Park and Rose Lake State Natural Area. It’s a wonderful area that attracts the American White Pelican, Virginia Rail, the Yellow-headed Blackbird along with many other birds, waterfowl and wildlife. I know this will be an area that I’ll be taking a trip to once we warm up and the snow has melted. Hopefully this year I’ll be able to see the migrating White Pelican. They are a site to behold. Come on Spring, we’re all ready for you to appear!!
