    Very nice shots Joleen! It’s good you waited for overcast weather to photograph these. So many others photograph in bright sunlight and the contrastiness looks awful.

    Wow – Those sunflowers are amazing!! I like all your shots here – but sunflowers are my favorites!!

      Again thanks…..hoping not too long from now I’ll be getting into the wildflowers as they appear. I didn’t have this camera last spring and am so excited to capture all kinds of new things.

      I have a Nikon D5000 with an additional 70-300mm lens and another lense that goes to 500mm (although, I haven’t had good luck with that, but need to use the tripod, that is a new lens for me).

    Cool – I have the nikjon D40 and the D5000. I have the Nikon 18-55 lens,
    Nikon 55-200 VR lens, Nikon 18-55 VR lens, Tokina 12-24 wide lens. The close up ones are a bit hard to learn – but once you get the hang of them they are really cool !! I really love the close up – the best thing to do is stand far away and zoom in, you can’t get up close that well cause it does not like to focus! 🙂
